I am a Law Clerk at NCL, working predominantly in medical negligence matters, while also building my experience in TAC and other personal injury claims. I am currently on a gap year before commencing my Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University in 2027.
I’m particularly interested in medical negligence law because it deals with situations where something has gone badly wrong for someone who trusted the system to look after them. While no legal outcome can undo what has happened, I hope to contribute to achieving a positive outcome for people who have already been through so much.
I strive to bring care and attention to detail to the work I do, because I know it makes a positive difference to our clients. Even from behind the scenes, I’m conscious that the accuracy of a file review or the clarity of a letter can make a real difference to how someone experiences their case.
In my role, I assist with medical records reviews, and letters of instruction and authority. I also attend mediations, conferences, and calls alongside the legal team. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an experienced group at NCL while building my skills in areas of law that I care about.
